We started with the published Beneteau 393 Polars. They were a bit too optimistic for Ednbal with all the extra weight and our "cruising" mode of operation. So, we combined the original polars with Asymmetrical spinnaker performance for downwind sailing. Then we further adjusted the performance as how we normally sail her "not in hurry - comfortable and try not to break" attitude. We use polars regularly in VR Tool to optimise longer crossings whenever the latest wind and currents weather grib data are received via sailmail (usually twice a day).
